A lovely location near the Cutty Sark made it easy to explore the area. The bedding felt fresh and soft, enhancing our comfort during the stay. the shower was a real issue. water fluctuated between icy cold and scalding hot. It was frustrating to deal with the inconsistent temperature, especially when trying to rinse shampoo. the tea and coffee facilities were not in the room but were in a shared kitchen, which felt inconvenient. On the final night, we faced a boiler leak that went unaddressed for too long, which left us in a stressful situation. It dimmed what could have been a more enjoyable stay. The quirky decor and the communal kitchenette were nice touches, but overall management needs to address the maintenance issues and guest comfort more proactively.

The quirky decor adds an undeniable charm, making it feel unique and inviting. Plus, the communal kitchen offers an interesting space where guests can prepare their own meals, fostering a shared experience among travelers.
Unfortunately, the bathroom situation needs serious attention, with stained grout and inconsistent shower temperatures that fluctuated between scalding hot and icy cold. The lack of direct access to guest rooms from the main entrance can be a hassle, especially with limited staff availability for assistance. If you’re in a room above the pub, be prepared for noise that can linger late into the night. The absence of in-room tea and coffee facilities forces you to navigate a shared space with limited supplies, which can be quite inconvenient.

Charming decor added a unique touch to my stay.
I faced significant noise issues from the pub below, which disrupted my sleep, especially on the first night when the sounds from upstairs went on until 4 or 5 am. the room lacked tea and coffee-making facilities, causing inconvenience during my stay. The inconsistent shower temperature was frustrating, making it difficult to enjoy a proper shower.
